Niels Wichmann was elected as the new chairman of the North Sea Regional Advisory Council during the General Assembly and Executive Committee meetings on 21 and 22 October 2010. Mr Wichmann has many years experience chairing international committees and is currently the Chief Executive of the Danish Fishermen’s Federation. He succeeds Hugo Andersson of Sweden, who has been chairman of the NSRAC since its formation in 2004.
