In a ground-breaking initiative that could set a precedent for other stocks, the North Sea Regional Council is holding a series of meetings with fishermen and other stakeholders in the main nephrops ports. The first meeting was held in Whitley Bay on 19 June 2010 and the next 31 July 2010 in Fraserburgh. Further meetings will be arranged in Denmark and the Netherlands.
