The CIBBRiNA LIFE project aims to minimize the bycatch of Endangered, Threatened, and Protected (ETP) species in the North-East Atlantic, Baltic, and Mediterranean regions, working collaboratively as fishers, authorities, scientists, and other relevant stakeholders to achieve this.

Cross-border and cross-sector collaboration from stakeholders across 13 European countries are being employed to establish mitigation, monitoring, and assessment programs in a selected group of fisheries with a risk of bycatch.

The project will run from 2023 until 2029.

The NSAC is part of the Stakeholder Advisory Board of the CIBBRiNA project, and as such take part in periodical SAB meetings and contributes to its progress.
